Part one: Life is too fucking busy 😵‍💫

Haiya, its been a while! ^^

This entire month is going to be/has been absolutely hectic. A lot of various things have absolutely been eating up at my time and its honestly surprising how it hasn’t completely overwhelmed me yet, and how I’m still being productive. Imma try to list the things on my plate right now:

TL;DR:

I’m doing good, albeit with a full ass plate. As for my mental health, pretty great! The vyvanse is legit doing wonders for me, keeping me optimistic and productive AS FUCK in these busy times. Going a day without meds is kinda rough though, I end up like my usual self. Like how I was in 2025 & early 2026, lazy, always tired, completely unproductive, depressed, introspective, I tend to gorge on food, etc. The suicidal thoughts also kinda creep in, but now because I KNOW Its all neuro-chemical, I just tell myself that its fake, and not to be dwelt upon.

I mentioned I have a few projects of mine that I’m working on. Idk how imma break it down and keep everything organized, so bear with me.

Project 1: Server Rack

So basically, I wanted to make a whole new server thingy, and Its just now dawning upon me the amount of work that’ll go into this “10 minute” project of mine 😭

My plan was to build my own server rack with the various machines I have at my house, and orchestrate all the machines via kubernetes, and then implement them into my workflow, and perhaps have another PC off-site for backups.

I think I bit off more than I can chew though, for one just to rapid fire it all, here’s all the shit I’d have to research and learn just to begin planning:

This is just what I have to research, now on top of all that, I gotta figure out all that I need to purchase, and Cheaply (I’m kinda broke ngl)

Project 2: Web Development

I first wanna make an online store as testing grounds, and then next take that knowledge into making an online course - one of those defensive driving type classes.

As you probably know, I did make this website on my own, I have plenty of experience making static pages that just deal with HTML, CSS, and light JavaScript. As for hosting, I understand how to build a basic web server from scratch using really any distro, running certbot for SSL, UFW and ip-tables for firewall, utilizing domains and sub-domains, and as for HTTP engines, I’ve only really played around with Apache.

For this project to work, I have a lot I need to learn next:

How I wanna make a web-dev testing environment

For real, if anyone can help me understand and set up this shit, I dunno man Ill suck ur dick or something xD

Project 3: Local-AI Powered Plushie

Basically, I want to make an easily deployable piece of software that can run on a Raspberry-Pi 0 2w, that utilizes a local LLM to interact with the user via an on-board microphone/speaker combo. Basically a “hey siri” or “alexa” type workflow, but powered via local FOSS AI. The sbc would host a lightweight distro like alpine, and would be equipped with a ‘hat’ for a battery, and one for audio. The goal is to be able to make it easily deployable and lightweight so it can run on various sbc’s, and implemented into almost any plushie out there x3 So size definitely matters alot.

After playing around with the software for a bit, I got it to kinda work, albeit really slow. After discovering theres a term for what I’m doing, which is a “STT TTS” workflow, Imma eventually get around to learning more about it and optimizing it as much as possible to reduce latency.

Project 4: NFC + LUKS

The idea is, upon booting into my LUKS enabled debian PC, i wanna be able to simply tap an NFC card on to the reader, and log in that way. This way, i can have a super long and complicated 400 character password that i can generate for extra security, but still have a method of actually being able to memorize it, since i’d use a repeatable algorithm to generate said passwords. The NFC Reader would just basically act as a keyboard inputting characters upon scanning.

I bought an NFC reader on amazon for this purpose, but it was using a serial protocol on a USB connection, and trying to get the fucker to work was alot more trouble than it was worth, so I returned it, and i’m waiting on a new one to start working on the project again.

Project 5: Various Containers

Basically i got jellyfin and it’s stack running, and it does work, but i need to play around with it and optimize it properly.

I also wanna figure out how best to do local ai in terms of LLMs. LM-studio works great, but thats really for on my machine, to use it remotely i’ve tried messing with open web ui. But that frickin app is so huge and complex its taken me a while to understand how to configure it xD

Lastly, figuring out how to make image-to-video generation run faster in ComfyUI. Im sure you can guess why that is 😏
